Nestled in the woods of Mercer County, Illinois, three generations of family grew up on our property with a love of the outdoors and the natural world. Joshua’s love of all things fungi began at a young age hunting morels with his grandfather, father and family. As he grew older, he remained fascinated with the world of mycology and has become a lifelong student of the science. In other words, be careful when you bring up mushrooms around Josh - he will talk your ear off.
